Chandra Elizabeth Hines, LMFT

Welcome.

I welcome your hopes and dreams.

I welcome your fears and challenges.

I welcome your anxiety, grief, disconnection and pain.

I welcome your vulnerability.

I welcome your resistance.

I welcome your courage, strength and resilience.

I welcome and honor all of who you are.

In addition to my professional training, I personally know how infertility, loss and motherhood challenges can impact a woman’s life. My journey was emotionally, mentally and physically consuming and often, overwhelming and lonely. “Holding it together” (emotionally and somatically) wasn’t working anymore. As a budding therapist myself, I knew I needed support during this time of challenge, uncertainty, and personal growth. Therapy was my guiding light through it all. After emerging from the depths of my own experience, I knew I wanted to support women through this profound transition.

My intention as an infertility and maternal mental health therapist is to ensure my clients feel seen, heard, understood and supported. Utilizing a holistic and client-centered approach, I integrate somatic (body-based) psychology to foster healing and growth. Throughout our journey together, I place great emphasis on identifying and harnessing your strengths and inner resources.

I look forward to meeting you.

“If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive” -Brene Brown

My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in a holistic philosophy that draws inspiration from various disciplines aimed at nurturing mind, body, and spirit. Central to my approach is the cultivation of self-compassion, fostering a nurturing and non-judgmental relationship with oneself as a foundation for healing and growth. Incorporating elements of breath work, I emphasize the importance of intentional breathing techniques to promote relaxation, mindfulness, and emotional balance. Somatic psychology informs my work by recognizing the intrinsic connection between the body and mind, guiding clients to access and process emotions stored at a somatic level. Utilizing principles from Internal Family Systems (IFS), I guide clients in exploring their internal landscape with curiosity and compassion, facilitating healing and integration of fragmented parts of the self.
